How can you contact OWCC?
Counselling is by appointment only.
If you are interested in receiving counselling at OWCC, leave a phone message on 01865 725617 requesting an 'Initial Meeting' and clearly stating your name and phone number. Please also let us know if you do not want us to leave a message on your phone.
One of our counsellors will then return your call with a proposed time and date for an Initial Meeting. (Initial Meetings are held on Saturday mornings.) You will be asked to confirm the appointment time offered within 48 hours. She will also explain the set fee, cancellation policy, location and other necessary information.
At the Initial Meeting we will discuss what your needs are, any questions you may have, and whether we can provide the counselling that is right for you. If this is the case, you will be put on our waiting list, then contacted by one of our counsellors who will arrange a regular weekly appointment with you.
How much does it cost?
The cost of your counselling sessions will depend on your financial circumstances. The appropriate rate will be negotiated at your initial meeting.
How long does it last?
A counselling session lasts fifty minutes. OWCC offers both time-limited and longer-term counselling. The length of the contract between you and your counsellor will be discussed at the initial meeting.
